Tổng quan phần mở bài IELTS Writing task 2

Bài này sẽ đưa ra một số nội dung và kỹ thuật để viết một mở bài cho phần Writing task 2 mà không tốn nhiều thời gian quý báu trong bài writing. Những kiến thức trong bài được áp dụng cho cả dang General IELTS và IELTS học thuật. 

Những bộ kỹ năng này được áp dụng cho tất các band điểm từ 4.0 cho tới 9.0. Sự khác biệt giữa các band điểm trong bài writing task 2 IELTS nằm ở độ phong phú phức tạp của ngôn ngữ.

Tại sao cần học viết mở bài cho IELTS writing task 2

Rõ ràng điểm số của bài thi IETLS Writing task 2 tập trung chủ yếu vào phần body (thân bài) của bài essay. Nhưng không phải vì thế mà bỏ qua phần mở bài. 

Dưới đây là một số lý do các bạn nên học cách viết mở bài hiệu quả và nhanh gọn cho IELTS writing task 2:

Có nên dùng template cho mở bài IELTS Writing 2

Tuỳ theo trình độ của học sinh sẽ quyết định có áp dung Template cho phần introduction của bài essay writing task 2 IELTS.

• Nếu bạn là người mới học IELTS và kỹ năng viết chưa tốt, trình độ của bạn đang dưới band 6, thì việc áp dụng template là việc hoàn toàn cần thiết. Điều này sẽ giúp bạn hạn chế đi những lỗi sai và tiếp kiệm thời gian.

• Nếu trình độ của người học đã đạt trên 6.5 thì việc sử dụng form mẫu là không cần thiết. Vì lúc này Người viết đã có thể tự kiểm soát ngữ pháp và từ vựng khi viết. Họ đã có thể xây dựng ý và triển khai ý tưởng trong đoạn văn một cách mạch lạc.

Chức năng của phần Introduction trong phần IELTS writing task 2

Phần mở bài của bài essay trong IELTS writing task 2 có hai nhiệm vụ chính 

• Nhắc lại chủ đề chung của toàn bộ đề bài 

• Đưa ra quan điểm của người nói về vấn đề được nêu ra trong đề bài hay nói cách khác trả lời câu hỏi của đề bài

• Đề cập một cách tóm tắt toàn bộ nội dung sẽ được trình bày trong phần body của bài essay

• Một đoạn văn ngắn có tác dụng cầu nối giữa Đề bài và đoạn thân bài của bài essay

Cấu tạo của phần introduction của một essay IELTS

Phần introduction của một bài Writing task 2 nên có hai câu

Câu một:

• Đưa ra/ nhắc lại chủ để chung được nhắc tới trong phần đề bài hay nói một các khác diễn đạt lại chủ đề chính của đề bài theo ngôn ngữ của bạn 

• Tránh việc chép y nguyên một câu từ đề bài xuống. Những từ được chép lại sẽ không được đếm. 

• Quá trình phía trên được gọi là paraphrase lại chủ đề chính

Câu hai:

• Đưa ra một câu trả lời trực tiếp cho câu hỏi của đề bài.

• Phần này cần chú ý, nếu đề bài có hỏi hoặc đề cập tới bạn thì trong câu trả lời bạn cần có chủ từ hoặc đại từ thể hiện quan điểm của bạn thân bạn:

• Câu hỏi: Do you agree or disagree? - có đề cập tới bạn

• Câu trả lời: Cần có từ I hoặc là một cụm khác diễn tả cái ý tưởng của chính bạn như

Cách viết câu 1 của mở bài: Câu paraphrase đề

Đề bài muốn nhắc tới độ tuổi của người lãnh đạo hoặc giám đốc trong một tổ chức hoặc một công ty. 

Ta viết câu 1 như sau:

It is true that higher positions are prevalently held by aged members in many organizations these days.

Cách viết câu 2 của mở bài: Câu đưa ra quan điểm trả lời câu hỏi

Đề muốn hỏi: như vấn đề được nói tới ở trên thì BẠN có đồng ý hay không đồng ý. Nhiệm vụ của câu số 2 là trả lời trực tiếp cho câu hỏi "Do you agree or disagree?"

Câu thứ 2 của phần mở bài Writing IELTS task 2

Ta viết câu 2 như sau:

While some people believe younger people would demonstrate better leadership, it is in my opinion that senior managers possess more advantages over the young in leading a company.

Mở bài cho từng dạng bài IELTS Writing task 2

Template cho dạng agree or disagree These days, it is true that…………… …… …… ……….(chủ đề chính toàn bài) While some people believe that ……..……………………XXX, it is in my opinion that…..……………………………….. YYY. Đề bài dạng agreee or disagree essay: Leaders and directors in an organisation are normally older people. Some people think younger leader would be better. (câu 1) While some people believe younger people would demonstrate better leadership, it is in my opinion that senior managers possess more advantages over the young in leading a company. (câu 2)

Template cho dạng discussion essay Recently, people have different views about………………………..Chủ đề  của bài. While some individuals believe that ………………………………..XXX, I would argue that……………………………………………………YYY. Đề bài dang discussion essay: Some people think that there should be some strict controls about noise. Others think that they could just make as much noise as they want. Discuss both views and give your opinion. Mở bài dạng Discussion essay People have different views about whether noise should be limited. (câu 1) While some individuals believe the level of noise being created should be strictly controlled, I would argue that people should have the right to produce noise if they want to. (câu 2)

Template mở bài cho dạng bài advantage or disadvantage essay Nowadays, it is true that……………………………………………...chủ đề của bài. While this trend is beneficial to some extent, I would argue that its disadvantages are more significant Đề bài dạng bài advantage or disadvantage essay It is now possible for scientists and tourists to travel to remote natural environment, such as the South Pole. Do the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages? Mở bài dạng bài advantage or disadvantage essay Nowadays, it is true that people can now travel to remote natural areas. While this trend is beneficial to some extent, I would argue that its disadvantages are more significant.

Hiểu sai đề bài, hiểu sai chủ đề chính của bài - để khắc phục lỗi này các bạn cần thực sự tập trung khi đọc đề bài của IELTS writing task 2. Phải chắc chắn bạn hiểu đề mới viết mở bài

Dưới đây là những lời khuyên khi bạn viết mở bài của một bài essay IELTS Writing task 2

• Bạn nên nhớ 2 phần body - thân bài mới là phần chiếm nhiều điểm nhất của bài essay, chính vì vậy đừng tốn quá nhiều thời gian cho phần mở bài, làm mở bài thật nhanh và giành thời gian cho phần thân bài.

• Đừng quá dài dòng ở phần mở bài, đơn giản hãy viết hai câu như các hướng dẫn ở trên

• Không được copy lại đề bài, vì bạn sẽ bị trừ điểm, hãy viết mở bài bằng ngôn ngữ của bạn bằng cách thay đổi từ vựng hoặc dùng cấu trúc khác.

Đề bài 2:

Nowadays animal experiments are widely used to develop new medicines and to test the safety of other products. Some people argue that these experiments should be banned because it is morally wrong to cause animals to suffer, while others are in favor of them because of their benefits to humanity. It is true that nowadays advertising manipulates people to buy more through their powerful marketing strategy and most of the time these are not very useful products. Although advertising has some benefits, personally I agree with the above statement.

It is true that medicines and other products are routinely tested on animals before they are cleared for human use. While I tend towards the viewpoint that animal testing is morally wrong, I would have to support a limited amount of animal experimentation for the development of medicines.

People have different views on advantages and disadvantages of zoo. Although there are some disadvantages of keeping animals inside a close space, I would argue that zoos help to conserve endangered species.
