Original trials had an end date and Square Enix wont reset them.

Amethyst85 1 year ago#2 Unlikely at this time. The PS5 version isn't actually being released on the 13th. Just a beta versions which from what I can tell does not include the free trial. There will almost certainly be a PS5 version of the trial eventually but probably not until the main game is out of beta [the PS4 beta lasted 6 weeks, so late May/early June, maybe?] Once the PS5 version of the trial goes live I'd guess you'll be able to upgrade, but nothing has been confirmed one way or the other yet.
