I am still fairly new to my MacBook, I have just installed the Now TV Player and it is now on my desktop screen. However I dont want it on the desktop screen so why I delete it, it is asking me to delete the program. I want to keep the program but just remove the icon, can somebody advise how to do this please?

This is a settings choice that makes it so when you connect a new drive to the Mac, it won’t show up on the desktop, but it will be visible from a Finder window and accessible from the Finder or any application.
