MÔ TẢ CÔNG VIỆC:
1. Giảng dạy:
Lập kế hoạch giảng dạy: phân phối chương trình, lịch báo giảng, thiết kế bài dạy theo phân môn được phân công.
Thực hiện giảng dạy lớp được phân công, đảm bảo chất lượng chương trình giáo dục.
Kiểm tra, đánh giá, nhận xét học sinh.
Tham gia các hoạt động chuyên môn do nhà trường tổ chức.
2. Phó chủ nhiệm
3. Hoạt động giáo dục khác:
Phối hợp hình thành nhân cách, kĩ năng cho học sinh thông qua việc tổ chức các sự kiện, dự án.
Tham gia thực hiện việc ghi hình bài giảng Elearning, xây dựng tài nguyên giảng dạy trực tuyến.
YÊU CẦU:
Tốt nghiệp ĐH chuyên ngành Sư phạm Tiểu học.
Anh văn giao tiếp cơ bản.

A Teaching Assistant is responsible for assisting IP Primary teachers in maintaining appropriate classroom procedures, planning activities and creating an environment that is safe and conducive to learning for the students. Beyond their classroom duties, TAs are expected to contribute to Wellspring as role models and active members of its community. As part of a bilingual school, a TA is responsible for helping to bridge the language and cultural divide between IP and VP teachers as well as maintaining clear and consistent communication with students and parents.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
1. Teaching support and tutoring:
- Support IP Primary teachers in delivering engaging lessons that support students below grade level while also pushing students at and above grade level
- Maintain clear expectations of, and adherence to classroom management in conjunction with the IP Primary teacher
- Cover lessons as needed when another TA is absent
- Ensure a safe and productive learning environment for all students
- Attend professional development workshops as directed by supervisor
- Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce concepts and skills covered in class during allocated tutoring times
- Attend TA meetings once a week as scheduled by your direct supervisor
- Attend a monthly meeting with all teachers and TAs [VP and IP] of each class you teach to discuss student concerns, progress, etc.
- Discuss student progress on a regular basis with paired IP Primary teacher and assist in identifying necessary issues for communication to parents
2. Administrative duties:
- Mark student homework and update class gradebooks, adhering to the time frame laid out by your direct supervisor and/or faculty handbook
- Participate in the annual performance review process as conducted by your direct supervisor
- Contribute to school databases such as [parent communication log, gradebooks, etc.]
- Complete all paperwork required for leave requests, disciplinary measures, etc. according to timelines laid out by school policy
- Print and deliver student planners, mid semester comments, etc. as instructed by direct supervisor
3. Communication:
- Translate all communication between parents and IP Primary teachers; ensuring that each parent receives a response from IP Primary teachers in both English and Vietnamese
- Prepare for and participate in parent-teacher meetings once a semester
- Write comments on each student’s behavior and learning [strengths, achievements, weaknesses, areas for growth] twice a semester
- Participate in direct parent communication through English Vietnamese; keeping IP Primary teacher apprised of any developments that require their attention
- Schedule and attend parent meetings as requested by parents or when a determined need arises
- Communicate issues that arise for individual students or classes with your paired IP Primary teacher and direct supervisor
4. Contributions to the Wellspring Community:
- Contribute to the planning and preparation and execution of events held by IP Primary [Science Fair, Reading Week, etc.]
- Adhere to all regulations, policies and other assignments as dictated by the Board of Directors
- Participate in up to 4 Saturday events per year as required by the School’s need
- Support extracurricular activities as assigned by direct supervisor
5. Others:
- Help to ensure that all classroom equipment is being used properly for instructional purposes and that the classroom is left in an appropriate state for the next teacher’s arrival
- Perform other tasks and responsibilities as might be reasonably assigned by direct supervisor or the Deputy Head of IP [Primary]
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in English or English Teaching
- A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience [full-time], preferably in an international school
- The ability to adapt to changing work priorities and maintain flexible working hours
- The ability to establish and maintain constructive working relationships
- The ability to work with a diverse group of individuals with an understanding of different personal and cultural backgrounds
- Demonstrated English competency in clear pronunciation and spoken grammar
- A thorough understanding of subject material related to grades and subjects taught
- The ability to create and maintain accurate records
- A sensitivity to the developmental stages and well-being of ELLs
- The ability to identify and adapt teaching to varying ranges of student ability and background
