The answer is that there are two, 75 and 97, because there is a tempo change in the song
97 bpm is used by a majority of sites because it is the bpm of the verses and the chorus, however the very iconic intro is 75bpm, the clicks will line up with the piano notes.
However the guy below mentioned starting at 150, then speeding up to 160, and the 150 made sense because setting a metronome to 150 bpm, being double the pace of 75 bpm, would also work well if you were trying to play it, however, I was confused by the 160, so I played a 160 bpm metronome and the song at the same time, and I realized that 160bpm at a glance, sounds like it works for the whole song, however, if you listen closely, the metronome sounds like it is going slightly too fast for the intro, being double of 80, 5 bpm faster than the proper 75 and then sounds like its wandering between too slow and too fast for the verses and chorus, because 80bpm is 17 clicks behind.
So in other words it will either always be slightly off, or you could chop it up into its faster components [anything that sounds like its going at the speed of the chorus] and its slower components [anything going at the same speed as the opening piano melody] and then slow down or speed up the bpms of each group accordingly
also, enjoy this semi ear rape of a song that has the highest bpm 2021 Bpm //www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXPhdUMezSs&ab_channel=CamelliaOfficial
One more thing: Bohemian Rhapsody is 144bpm, however the songs tempo changes slightly at several points in the song, which is combined with the changes in the song, which make the tempo changes seem huge and makes it seem like there is five or six songs in there [Thats why is called a Rhapsody] so to be warned there are bits that might be as much as 10 bpm more or less than that 144.
Good Luck with the mashup
