2. Check your firewall rules, if you have not allowed Warcraft game in the firewall, then you wont be able to see other computers on LAN hosting the game and other computers won't see your hosted game.

Note: When you launch the game for the first time, it will ask you if you want to allow the game in firewall. You need to choose to allow in both "private" and "public" network. This will solve the issue of not seeing others game.

I installed Warcraft 3 (DOTA) in my laptop and in our pc downstairs on the same wireless network. So I created a game and asked my friend whose using our pc downstairs to join my game but there's an error saying "unable to join specified game yada yada". I changed 6112 gameport into 6113 but still, there is the error message. What will I do? Help me pls. Thanks

Use Hamachi and google "warcraft3 proxy"

If that still doesnt work check your firewall or just turn it off whenever you need to play using LAN.

I've used entgaming before without any problems, albeit when chrome still supported Java. I've been trying to join games, both bot hosted and player hosted, yet to no avail. I keep getting "Unable to join specified game.

I tried Mozzila, Opera and Internet Explorer. Hell, even Safari. IE just keeps giving me blank pages, but with Mozzila I click ent connect or the grey button next to the games and it gives me a green square.

When I try to connect the square turns blue, but I still get the message I mentioned earlier. My firewall is not the problem for all that I know since it allows warcraft, and my java has the links to entgaming in it's settings.

My university should not be the problem as well, since I used their internet for 2 years on entgaming with no problems, and I doubt they changed their policies. I tried using another Frozen Throne game, but that didn't work either. I changed the port in Frozen throne from 5117 to 6002 hoping that would do something.

The Frozen throne version is 1.26.0.6401 which should be the correct version. I can see the games in the lobby, but any attempt to connect just gives me the message "Unable to join specified game"

You are a Network game addict, Warcraft III is one of favorite game. Have you seen that Warcraft II unable to join a game and suggest you to join another game? The only one reason is "FIREWALL"

There are two (2) ways to solve this problem, First is disable your Firewall and then for second set your firewall to allow Warcraft III connect over network or change Warcraft III port to 6113 or 6114

Uh, disconnecting the router would make it instantly not work, as thats whats connecting the two computers. If you're both 100% sure you have the same version of Wc3, then it's either a router or firewall problem.
