Đối với kết quả học tập, bậc cao đẳng, đại học đã được quy định như sau (tính đến thời điểm 2008):

• A (8,5 - 10) Giỏi – Excellent
• B (7,0 - 8,4) Khá – Good
• C (5,5 - 6,9) Trung bình – Average
• D (4,0 - 5,4) Trung bình yếu – Below Average
• F (dưới 4,0) Poor/ Weak

Xếp loại bằng tốt nghiệp

Trong khi đó hạng tốt nghiệp được quy định như sau:

• Xuất sắc – High Distinction
• Giỏi – Distinction
• Khá – Credit
• Trung bình khá – Strong Pass
• Trung bình – Pass

Theo Thông tư số 45/2012/TT-BGDĐT ngày 30 tháng 11 năm 2012 của Bộ trưởng Bộ Giáo dục và Đào tạo về việc ghi nội dung trên bằng tốt nghiệp cao đẳng:

• Loại Xuất sắc ghi “Excellent”,
• loại Giỏi ghi “Very good”,
• loại Khá ghi “Good”,
• loại Trung bình khá ghi “Average good”,
• loại Trung bình ghi “Ordinary”
• “Chính quy” ghi “Full-time”,
• “Vừa làm vừa học” ghi “Part-time”,
• “Học từ xa” ghi “Distance learning”,
• “Tự học có hướng dẫn” ghi “Guided Self - learning”

Trung bình cộng là một phép tính toán để tìm ra giá trị trung bình của một tập hợp các số. Nó được tính bằng cách cộng tất cả các số trong tập hợp lại và sau đó chia cho số lượng các số trong tập hợp đó.
