Where is the volume button on the laptop?

Thank you, Sourav.  Unfortunately, it didn't work.  (Also, the path you indicated did not conform to what I saw, but I did find the Device Manager and then uninstalled the keyboard, restarted the computer, and to be doubly sure, updated the driver. The feedback was that the best driver for the keyboard is installed.)

What to do?

This all started with a Windows 10 updates of 9 June, presumably this one:

(The other one, installed the same day, was for Adobe Flash Player.)

Also, after this update, a search bar appears at the bottom of my screen every time I start typing something -- very annoying!

I'm so fed up with MS. Glad they stopped updating Skype -- every time they did, my wife had to reset to use the Logitech C170 camera (the camera built in to her laptop always showed her upside down).

If you press the Fn button at the bottom left corner of your keypad, next to the Ctrl button, and press F11 or F12 while you’re at it, you’ll be able to control your volume on the keypad. So it’s: Fn + F11 → volume decreases, Fn + F12 → volume increases.
