Chip được nâng cấp bản mới nhất với kiến trúc Kaby lake là Core M3 – 7Y30, ở đời Sky Lake thì Core M3 – 6y30 chỉ mạnh hơn M3-5Y10c 1 xíu, nhưng con chip Core M3-7Y30 thực sự là nâng cấp đáng giá với hiệu năng tâng khoảng 40% so với core M3-6Y30 (Theo bảng so sánh chip trên trang Notebookcheck.net thì chip M3-7Y30 mạnh ngang M7-6Y75 và mạnh hơn core i5-4200U dùng trên Surface pro 3). Máy trang bị bộ nhớ ram 4G và bộ nhớ được nâng cấp lên SSD chuẩn M2 – 128G. Máy vẫn sử dụng màn hình 10.6 inch Full HD 1920×1080 và cảm ứng Wacom hỗ trợ 1024 mức độ lực nhấn (Máy có thể sử dụng bút stylus của dòng máy Samsung Galaxy note).
